Exclusive John Carter Footage Revealed

The Giant Screen crew will get all of the fun.... Throughout Disney's outstanding showcase only at that year's Empire Presents.... Giant Screen, there have been a few serious gems. One of these simple gems came completely from Mars, because of a guy through the title of John Carter. Formerly only proven to some choose number of super-special journalists (ourselves incorporated, natch), the lucky males and ladies from the IndigO2 were fortunate with numerous moments in the approaching sci-fi adventure with different Princess of Mars by Edgar Grain Burroughs. Feeling very western indeed, a vital scene saw Taylor Kitsch's John Carter, getting just showed up about the Red-colored Planet, negociating with soon-to-be-best-buddy Tars Tarkas - who's a 12-feet tall, 4-armed eco-friendly barbarian from space, incidentally - in British, whereas Tars is talking away in good old Martian. Then, throughout this Lost-In-Space-In-Translation moment, John advances that massive leap of his and all of a sudden he's sailing with the air and in to the type of fire of 100s of a smaller amount friendly eco-friendly males. Shot rings out, also it fades to black. Searching in the first clip, what we should know is the fact that rhe Martian language feels real - for the possible lack of a much better word - and also the four arms looks natural, with each set of arms on both sides essentially following one another wherever they are able to. Oh, and also the jumping is really a beautiful factor to behold. Cut to some gladatorial scene, where John and Tars - now speaking British, that is handy - are protecting themselves against an enormous, four-armed Yeti-like creature. Sure, they refer to it as a Whitened Ape! , but by us it appears like one hell of the Abominable Snowman. In Mars. Hmm. Not. John then advances about increasingly more, with slow-motion jumping in some way being a factor you want to do ourselves, really, really soon. Plus, he's doing the work by using a series mounted on his leg, which we reckon may be how he will fell the beastie within the film. Only a guess there, mind, but we reckon it is a good one.... For more information on John Carter, you would be best off visiting your local newsagents and getting ahold in our new problem of Empire, or failing that, looking at the Peter Gabriel-designed trailer here.... John Carter is going to be in movie theaters March 9, 2012.
