Can't remember movie - young wife dies aneurysm...?

Trying to remember a movie, i'm assuming it's from the late 80s to mid
90s and it's NOT Jersey girl. Was a young couple that had one
daughter (think she was a baby at beginning of movie) Anyways the wife
collapses at work (think she was a secretary) from a brain aneurysm
and the husband goes into a depressed state. The daughters
grandparents take her, husband loses his construction job. They were
in the process of building a home, he hits rock bottom after going out
to the house and just starts demolishing stuff. I can't remember much
more, hope someone has seen this too!
