Why The Judas Breed of the movie Mimic wants to mate with Remy?

I mean doesn't the creature recognize his own specie Remy she is a
human so why would the creature want her to be his queen ? and see the
creature is actually jealous of her since he starts to kill all the
males that surround her please somebody can explain me.
