In the Movie Training day. If Jake had taken the money, would alonzo have tried to have him killed?

After the Heist at Rogers house, and Alonzo digs the money up, all of
the corrupt officers take their small cut. They reherse what the story
about what to tell the other cops when they show up. During the
process, Alonzo tries to get Jake to take a stack of money, but he
refuses. I've always wondered if Jake had taken the Money, would
Alonzo not have tried to have him killed? If Jake had taken it and
gone along with them would things have been different, or would have
have probably had him killed anyways and taken the money back from
him?
